ENSF informs students selected under EEI

The Eastern Nagaland Students’ Federation (ENSF) has informed all the students selected under ENSF Education Initiatives (EEI) for pursuing higher professional studies (Medicine & Engineering) under fee reimbursement scheme to report at Eastern Nagaland Students’ Union, Dimapur (ENSUD) office on August 9 between 10 am and 2 pm without fail. Admission confirmation letter from the institution along with the bonafide certificates and prospectus can be collected in person on the same day.
According to an ENSF press release, hostel arrangement for all 173 students from Nagaland has been confirmed and beddings will be provided by the society.
The temporary hostel admission confirmation letter to all students sent by NRES will also be handed over to the students on the day.
Though there will be no admission fees for the hostel, it informed that monthly fees of Rs 4000 would be collected in two installments in a year.
Therefore, the union has informed the selected students to deposit the first installment amount of Rs 24,000 by August 9.
While stating that details would be intimated on the day, the release informed the students to bring five copies of recent passport photo, residential certificates from the gaon bura/local headmen or DC with photo attached and proper seal and signature, ID card, driving license or the ID card from the last institution attended and Rs 500 for opening new bank account.
Though admissions are confirmed and secured, students are asked to produce and submit their original documents for final verification.
“Any forgery, duplication or even non-submission may result to cancellation of the admissions by the institution,” the release cautioned.
The original documents required for final verification will include 10+2/12th class marksheet of NBSE/CBSE, 10+2/12th class pass certificates of NBSE/CBSE, 10th class marksheet of NBSE/CBSE and 10 class pass certificate of Nagaland Board of Secondary Education/Central Board of Secondary Education, transfer certificates from the institution from where the student passed, migration certificate, permanent residential certificate (PRC) and income certificate/income affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper (only for those students who have not submitted the certificates or which were rejected due to lamination), the ENSF further said in the release.
Further, the release also informed all those students who had got through in the JEE and NEET to submit an application addressing the convener of ENSF Education Initiatives (EEI) or chairman of the respective institution managing board for refund.
