ENSF demands quality workmanship

Dimapur, May 8 (EMN): Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) has appealed to all the government departments, companies, firms, and contractors to deliver quality workmanship while executing any development projects within its jurisdiction.
In a joint statement, ENSF vice president, Manpang Wangyen, and the assistant general secretary, Kumcho Yimchunger, stated that for the past good number of years the Eastern Nagaland had been neglected and turned into a freestyle zone for departments, companies, firms, and contractors etc without delivering quality works.
The federation, while acknowledging the state government for showing keen interest to develop the most neglected and backward areas of the state, expressed believe that it would not only developed Eastern Nagaland but also facilitates the “Act East Policy” of the Government of India.
It lamented that successive governments had failed the people of Eastern Nagaland thereby resulting in pathetic and pitiable condition in all the developmental sectors.
Taking strong note of the poor quality in developmental activities particularly in Eastern Nagaland, the federation has warned the concerned contractors and departments that it would not compromise on the quality of workmanship under any circumstances. The federation has directed all concerned contractors, firms and any company engaged with any projects in the Eastern jurisdiction to execute the work as per Details Project Reports (DPR) without any disrepute.
The federation has warned to initiated its own course of action if any concerned fails to abide with the DPR.
