ENPO to meet Amit Shah; Black Day to be observed on December 4, 5

Dimapur, Nov.28 (EMN):
The Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organisation (ENPO) is scheduled to have a meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah on December 3 in New Delhi in connection with its demand for a separate state.

In regard to the meeting, a special programme covering all churches under the respective associations of the eastern areas have been requested to the anointed spiritual leaders and to the bona-fide members of eastern Nagaland.

ENPO Black Day

The ENPO will be observing Black Day on Dec. 4 and 5 in the entire eastern jurisdiction by hoisting black flags in all the households.

This is in compliance to the resolution adopted by ENPO after the gruesome murder of innocent public in Mon district by the Indian security forces on Dec. 4 and 5th in 2021.

It was also requested that the community spend some time in prayer remembering those souls and their family members, and for peaceful environment to prevail in the eastern Nagaland region.
