Dimapur, Aug. 24 (EMN): The Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organisation (ENPO) has appealed to all the groups engaged in negotiation with the government of India to seek for the ‘best unified solution’ for Nagas, following the latter’s commitment to conclude the Indo-Naga talks within three months.
The ENPO is also spearheading the demand for Frontier Nagaland, a separate state carved out of the eastern districts of the state.
In a press release issued on Saturday, the ENPO stated that peace and amicable solution was the prayer of all Naga people. For this, it stated, the ENPO was hopeful that the government of India’s commitment to resolve the issue within three months would usher a long-lasting, peaceful settlement.
