It emphasised that due credit must be accorded to the pioneers of the TMPO, whose initial efforts eventually evolved into what is now known as the ENPO.
It added that the Frontier Nagaland Territorial Authority (FNTA) represented the culmination of the people’s demand for equality and justice in the face of longstanding administrative and economic disparities.
The union further expressed hope that, as interim members and administrators of the FNTA move forward with implementing the execution plan in accordance with the FNTA Agreement, divine wisdom would guide those involved during the transitional period to uphold accountability and transparency.
“This fervent appeal of the ENNWU, GPRN/NSCN, led by Chennyiem Konyak, vice president, is made to all the apex tribal bodies under ENPO, that now is the time to come together in unity and put all our efforts at securing acceptable and honourable Indo-Naga political solution.
“The FNTA is justice to the ENPO, the true great victory of the ENPO lies ahead: The Indo-Naga political settlement,” it stated.
