EMRS organises state-level cultural and literary fest

DIMAPUR — Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) at Diphupar conducted a state-level cultural and literary fest on Tuesday at the school premises.

An update from the school stated that representatives from EMRS at Tizit in Mon, Tuensang and Diphupar participated in the events.

Altogether, 78 participants from different schools have competed in various categories.

The release further stated that the champions in different categories from Nagaland would compete at the national level in the following months.

In the group folk dance category, EMRS Tizit was declared winner, while in the story telling (folk tales), Ngipom H Konyak from EMRS Tizit was declared the winner.

In creative writing, Yanglechuba Y Chang from EMRS Diphupar was declared winner, while in the recitation, Chongmei from EMRS Tizit was declared winner.

In the painting competition, Puchio Herrick P from EMRS Tuensang was declared winner.
