Elden Ring hits 3.4 billion views on YouTube in 60 days

FromSoftware’s fantasy action role-playing game, Elden Ring, is considered by many to be a masterpiece and it is so popular that some 13.4 million copies have already been sold to date.

The game was released on February 25 and it has since received rave reviews from players and critics alike. The game has one of the best looking game worlds out there and its combat mechanics and gameplay is second to none. Mixed all that with an engaging storyline and you have a recipe for success.

Elden Ring’s success story seems to have no end as it continues to break records one by one. For instance, it garnered more than 3 billion views on YouTube in 60 days, making it one of the largest gaming launches in YouTube’s history.

According to a Twitter post from YouTube Gaming, Elden Ring garnered 3.4 billion video views in 60 days, surpassing all-time beloved games like Grand Theft Auto 5 and 2018’s Red Dead Redemption.

Second placed Grand Theft Auto 5 garnered a total of 1.9 billion views in its first sixty days. Similarly, Red Dead Redemption is in third place with 1.4 billion total views.
