Kohima, Sep.19 (EMN): A new organisation consisting of educationists from across the country formed a group called All India Education Forum (AIEF) on September 12, under the convernorship of Zavise Rume, SCERT Nagaland.
The forum will be headed by Zavise Rume as the national chairman, Rajendra Prasad and Harshvardhan Kumar- deputy chairmen, Lalbiakdiki Hnamte – secretary, Sandip Ratna – treasurer, and Daya Pant, Ibadani Syiem, Sanjeev Rai and Shanavas C – board of advisors, an update informed.

The AIEF chairman informed that a section of educationists across India came together and unanimously resolved to form an association for all educationists in India under the banner, “All India Education Forum”, with an objective to provide common platform for the educationists, promote healthy interaction on education, improve the quality in education, extend consultancy service in policy decision making on education, network with education-related organisations, and safeguard the interest of educationist in the country.
At present, a few hundred practicing educationists from different parts of the country are registered with the forum as members. The forum is expected to register thousands of practicing educationists from different educational institutions such as NCERT, RIEs, SCERT, DIETs, UGC, NCTE, universities, colleges, schools, private institutions, training and research institutes, he informed.
The forum has invited educationists in the country to register with the forum so as to form a strong professional organisation for educationists in the country.
