Education dept. notifies on tele/radio tutoring

Dimapur, June 10 (EMN): Directorate of School Education has invited interested teachers serving in both government and private schools with a minimum teaching experience of five years with good command over the subject for tele/ radio tutoring for classes 1 to 4, 11 and 12 during the lockdown period.

The subjects for tele/ radio tutoring from classes 1 to 4 included English, Hindi, Nagaland heritage studies, Mathematics, Science and Social Science, while the subjects for Classes 11 and 12 are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Business Studies, Entrepreneurship, Accountancy, Financial Market Management and Fundamentals of Business Mathematics.

A DIPR report stated that the class duration would be for 20 minutes and the remuneration would be INR 1000 per class.

While teachers from districts other than Kohima could also apply, it however stated that they need to make their own travel, boarding and lodging arrangements.
