Dimapur, Aug. 22 (EMN): To take forward implementation process of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the department of School Education has sought suggestions from school teachers and principals from all over the country.
The suggestions are sought on each theme of the NEP related to school education through a question answer process. The questions are framed in such a manner that teachers can relate to them from their experience as teachers and classroom transactions. Each question also gives reference to the paragraph of NEP to which it refers to so as to enable teachers to read the same for better understanding of the policy before uploading suggestions, a DIPR report stated on Saturday.
The report stated that all suggestions received would be examined by a team of experts from NCERT. In the event of requirement for gathering further information, it stated that teachers, whose suggestions are found useful for incorporating in the national curriculum framework or in the implementation plan, would be individually contacted.
Teachers and principals are asked to the link http://innovateindia.mygov.in/nep2020 and register their details. They are further asked to browse through the chapter wise questions and give suggestions on as many areas as deemed fit based on their own experiences and learning. The dates for uploading suggestions by teachers have been allotted from August 24 to the 31st.
