Dimapur, April 20 (EMN): The Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) on Wednesday announced that its first phase of peaceful democratic agitation will commence from 9 am onwards on Thursday following the lapse of its 30-day ultimatum served to the government of Nagaland to address its demands for inclusion of exempted departments and posts in the Nagaland Staff Selection Board (NSSB) Regulation, 2020.

In a directive, the student body has asked all its seven federating units to send at least 150 volunteers each with “traditional identity (attire)” for the democratic agitation to be held at Nagaland Civil Secretariat Complex in Kohima.

While asking the participants to strictly maintain peace, it said ‘any unwanted consequences due to one’s dereliction shall be the sole responsibility of the violator’.

It added that the peaceful agitation will continue indefinitely until further communiqué from the federation.
