Dzükou Valley to be declared pastic-free

Dimapur, June 3 (EMN): As a pledge to protect the environment, the Southern Angami Youth Organisation (Sayo) is all set to declare Dzükou Valley a 'plastic free zone' on June 5, coinciding with World Environment Day. A press release from the organisation stated that Zale Neikha, advisor for Youth Resource and Sports will make the official declaration in the presence of public members at Viswema, from 10 am onwards on June 5, the updates stated. A formal programme will be held at the Viswema council hall at 10:30 am, the organisation stated. The Sayo conducted a three-day "social work" in the valley during May 21 to the 23rd the updates stated.
