Dzükou Cup U-19 Football League underway

Dimapur, May 17 (EMN): The first Dzükou Cup U-19 Football League of Southern Angami Sports Association (SASA) was kicked off by Alemyapang Longchar, SDO Civil on Fri. May 17 at the Jakhama ground.

The president of SASA issued a press release on Friday stating that the tournament will be played in Viswema and Jakhama ground which is scheduled till May 18.

Longchar in his message appreciated SASA for organising the tournament with a noble objective, including nurturing young talents and creating environmental awareness. He encouraged the youngsters to grab opportunities which football world is offering in today’s context taking example from Mizoram and Manipur. He also exhorted, ‘youngsters should dream big… should have a disciplined lifestyle and strong dedication to achieve one’s goal.

SASA president in his key-note address talked about the conviction of SASA to create more platforms for young talents with a minimum budge under the theme minimum budget, maximum platforms. He also expressed the desire of organisation in organising this event is much more beyond winning  the game and taking away the trophies and prizes but has vision for, health, environments, unity, brotherhood and promotion of professionalism to inbuilt in young minds.
