Dying Light 2 enters Steam’s Top 25 most-played games of all time
Dimapur, Jan. 6 (EMN): Just a few days after it launched, Dying Light 2 has been such a rousing success that it has already entered Steam’s Top2 5 most-played list with over 275,000 concurrent users.
According to SteamDB, Techland’s action role-playing game has been hitting serious player count numbers on Steam since it launched on February 4. For instance, the game got over 180,000 concurrent players in its first 24 hours after launch. At the time of writing this article, the game peaked an all-time high of around 275,000 players on Sunday and the numbers just seems to be growing day by day.
We do not know how the numbers will look like after a few weeks, however, judging by the number of positive reviews for the game on Steam—it currently has 80% ‘very positive’ rating by more than 21,000 users, the game could go up a few notches in the most-played list.

It may be mentioned that the game’s predecessor, 2015’s Dying Light, only managed to garner a peak concurrent player count of almost 46,000.
The game has also received a day-one patch that reportedly had more than 1,000 fixes, and if the developers can continue to churn out new content and bug fixes consistently, we can safely assume that it will garner more players as time goes on.
