Duleep Trophy: Rongsen named captain of North-East Zone squad

DIMAPUR — Jonathan Rongsen from Nagaland will captain the North-East Zone squad for Duleep Trophy 2023-24, and the team will be leaving for Bengaluru on June 25 to participate in the prestigious tournament where they will play against North Zone at M Chinnaswamy Stadium from June 28 to July 1.

The other members of the North-East Zone squad include Nilesh Lamichaney (Sikkim), Kishan Lyngdoh (Meghalaya), Langlonyamba (Manipur), Ar Ahlawat (Arunachal), Joseph Lalthankhuma (Mizoram), Pukhrambam P Singh (Manipur), Dipu Sangma (Meghalaya), Jotin Pheiroijam (Manipur), Imliwati Lemtur (Nagaland), Palzor Tamang (Sikkim), Kishan Singha (Manipur), Akash Kumar (Meghalaya), Raj Kumar Rex Singh (Manipur), Nagaho Chishi (Nagaland), the Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA) informed in an update.

The support staff and officials are Sonam Palden Bhutia (head coach), Vikash Singh Chauhan (S&C coach), Thongam Kamlesh (physio) and Dister M Marbaniang (team manager).

The conditioning camp for the North-East Zone squad was hosted by NCA from June 12 to the 24th at Nagaland Cricket Academy, Sovima.
