DSO Kohima organises motorised spinning training

DIMAPUR — The District Sericulture Office (DSO), Kohima, organised a motorised spinning training and distributed motorised spinning machines on July 11 at Tsiesema, Kohima, as part of the Integrated Eri and Muga Scheme for Sustainable Livelihood NEC, 2023–24.

According to a press release, a total of 50 beneficiaries received the machines.

The programme was chaired by Vilhousienuo Khro, district sericulture officer. Asangla Walling delivered the invocation, while Vikehielie Peinyü, joint district sericulture officer, and Alemkumzuk, deputy district sericulture officer, gave the keynote address.

The release mentioned that the department looks forward to conducting more training sessions so that educated unemployed youths and farmers can benefit fully.
