DSO Dimapur notifies on combined inter-high school tournament

DIMAPUR — The District Sports Office, Dimapur, will be conducting combined district-level inter-high school tournament for Dimapur and Niuland districts on April 28 and the 29th at MDSC Badminton Stadium near DC Court.

The disciplines include table tennis (single and doubles for both boys and girls) and badminton (single and doubles for both boys and girls).

The tournament is for high school students only and HSLC 2023 appeared students are not allowed to take part, stated an update from DSO Dimapur.

Registration will commence on April 13 till the 24th at DSO office.

The participants must bring a photocopy of CR (first page) attested by respective head of the institution during the time of registration.

The best player from each discipline will represent Dimapur district in the state-level inter-high school tournament to be held in Kohima on May 11 and the 12th at Indira Gandhi Stadium.

Participants must bring their own kits and none marking shoes during the competition, it stated.
