‘Dreams & Chaos’ released in Mokokchung

Mokokchung, Oct. 25 (EMN):
A book titled ‘Dreams & Chaos’ authored by Sentilong Ozukum was formally launched by the Book Club of Jubilee Memorial College, Mokokchung, at the Urban Hub Café on October 24.

Speaking at the launching programme, Sentilong Ozukum stated that the novel was an attempt at portraying the alienation and hopelessness felt by the younger generation due to imbalances in the social structures. He also extended his appreciation to the Jubilee Memorial College book club and Heritage Publishing House, Dimapur.

He also stressed upon the need to revive the dying art of storytelling and oral narratives and insisted on encouraging the habit among the younger generation.

Also speaking on the occasion, the publisher of Heritage Publishing House, Dimapur, Dr. Lanusangla Tzudir stated that the book ‘Dreams & Chaos’ offers self-critical analysis as a necessary tool for grappling with Naga realities and for young Nagas to find a place for their dreams in the chaos.

The programme was chaired by Limayanger, while a song was presented by Angangla, member of the JMC book club. The dedicatory prayer was said by Imliwabang.
