Dimapur, May 4 (EMN): State Chief Minister, Dr. Sürhozelie Liezietsu has expressed grieved over the demise of late Tsüpongchila, mother of Minister for Forest, Environment & Climate Change, Imkong L. Imchen on May 4 evening.
“Possessing a charming personality, she was caring personality adored by all who knew her. The fact that her children had occupied high positions in Government service and continues to play important role in the polity of the Sate and society, speaks volumes about how she raised her children. A pioneer in Christianity in her own rights, she had been devoutly religious like most of her contemporaries of whom there is only a handful today, and her passing away shall be felt deeply by those few of her peer alive today” stated the condolence message.On behalf of the Government of Nagaland, Dr. Sürhozelie conveyed heartfelt condolences to Imchen and his family members and pray to Almighty to grant them solace and comfort at this hour of grief. Further he prays that Almighty lift up the light of his countenance upon the departed soul and gives her eternal peace.
