DIMAPUR — The District Public Relations Office (DPRO), Wokha, and Chavara Home, Naharbari, organised pre-Christmas celebrations at Doyang Riverside and Dimapur, respectively.
The DPRO Wokha observed the pre-Christmas cum picnic celebration on December 8, according to an update.
Lolano Patton, district public relations officer, in her address, highlighted the deeper meaning of the season. She reminded the team that Christmas is not only a time of celebration but also a call to embrace hope, humility, and kindness, even in the midst of official responsibilities.
She acknowledged the department’s collective efforts throughout the year, especially during major events such as the Banana Festival 2025, the Soyabean Festival, and the departmental sports held in November. She stated that government service thrives not on individual effort alone, but through shared commitment, patience, and cooperation.
