The monthly meeting of the District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) Noklak was held on Monday at the DC conference hall in Noklak, chaired by vice chairman DPDB and DC Noklak, Arikumba.

According to a DIPR report, the DC, on the occasion, urged the members to attend DPDB meetings regularly and the house recommended and forwarded the proposal for the upgradation of the health awareness centre to a primary health centre at Tsuwao village to the concerned department.

It was also stated that the house decided to hold monthly DPDB meetings on the 12th of each month, with the next departmental presentations coming from the departments of Agriculture, Land Resources, and PWD.

Wokha: The monthly DPDB meeting of Wokha took place on January 22 at the DC conference hall with Ajit Kumar Ranjan, deputy commissioner and vice chairman of DPDB Wokha, presiding over the meeting.

During the meeting, the chairman expressed gratitude to all the departments and officers for their generous contributions, enabling the successful conduct of the golden jubilee celebration.

The DPO (Planning) and convenor of the organising committee, Orenbomomo Humtsoe, presented a detailed account of the income and expenditures incurred during the jubilee celebration on the occasion.

The lead district manager (LDM) of Wokha, C Yanthan, emphasised the revised annual credit plan for Wokha district during the meeting and the chairman urged all departments involved to mobilise and formulate action plans accordingly to achieve the set targets.

The skill development officer (SDO), Anuranjan, briefed the board members on the District Development Entry Form for the PM Award. He informed that awards would be presented under two categories: priority sector programmes and innovation (general).

Anuranjan urged all departments to take the necessary actions in line with the respective categories and submit supporting documents as required.

He also stated that the one-stop centre for local entrepreneurship—SHISHIO OSHOM Entrepreneurship Task Force—has been formed for the Wokha district and encouraged people to visit and take advantage of the opportunities.

The chairman informed the board members that, in light of the upcoming Lok Sabha Election, all departments are requested to provide a detailed list of employees within their respective departments and the number of government vehicles associated with each department to the designated Nodal Officers, namely ADC Headquarters and SDO (C) , at the earliest.
