Dorians Society to organise Classic Rock concert in Dimapur on Dec. 15

Dimapur, Dec. 13 (EMN): TheDorians Society from Dimapur will be organising a Classic Rock concert in aid of silver jubilee celebration at Urban Haat, Walford Colony in Dimapur on Dec. 15 from 6 pm onwards.

This was announced by Chairperson of Dorians Society, Temjen Lemtur during a press conference held at Hillspraise Music Academy Adjacent to Bank of India, Eros Line Dimapur on Dec. 13.

Lemtur informed that melodic classic rock concert will be featuring Fat Circus band, Avancer and Akokla Imchen.

The entry fees will be INR 500 per person and a special 50% discount for students with ID cards.

The Convener of the silver Jubilee, Wapong Longkumer said that Dorians Society started as small group of likeminded people who wanted to do something different, and that over the years the society got luckier with well wishers and seniors who assisted and helped them.

Longkumer added that because of pandemic, the society’s plan to organise series of events as part of run-up for the silver jubilee celebration could not be successful. The silver jubilee celebration of Dorians Society is scheduled to be held on Dec. 29.

Dorians Society over the years has carried out series of events including nature fitness walk, Cyclondon which was one of first in Dimapur, and Spell bee inter District competition, etc.

The Convener of the silver Jubilee informed that students will ID will be given 50% discount on entry fees and base on the tickets serial number there will also be a lucky draw and can get a chance to win a guitar.
