Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods Part One DLC is out now

Dimapur, Oct. 20 (EMN): Bethesda Softworks has released Doom Eternal’s first DLC called The Ancient Gods – Part One, which includes three new maps and a Makyr Slayer skin.

The expansion picks up after the events of the main game and sees you step into the shoes of DoomGuy once again to battle your way through hordes of demons in Urdak.

The new DLC includes three new campaign maps: UAC Atlantica, Blood Swamps and The Holt, a Makyr Slayer Master Collection, three new Support Runes in the form of Desperate Punch, Take Back and Break Blast.

Brief features of the three new support runes via Bethesda Softworks:

  • Desperate Punch – Blood Punch does double damage when your health is 75 or less
  • Take Back – When a demon causes an Extra Life to activate, it can be killed within a short time to gain the Extra Life back
  • Break Blast – Destroying a Weak Point generates a concussive blast

Other exclusive items in the new DLC include Deluxe Slayer skins like Industrial Espionage, Wetland Warrior, and Blood Slayer.

Along with the expansion pack, a free Update 3 game patch is also available. The update includes a text and voice chat prohibition system, new battlemode updates, bug fixes and patch for known issues.

Doom Eternal is a first-person shooter video game developed by id Software and published by Bethesda Softworks. It was first released on March 20, 2020, and the game is available on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and on PC via Steam.
