Doom Eternal coming to Nintendo Switch on December 8
Dimapur, Dec. 1 (EMN): Bethesda Softworks has announced yesterday, November 30, that Doom Eternal will be coming to the Nintendo Switch on December 8. The game will be a digital download only release and will be available via the eShop.
The port for Nintendo Switch was co-developed by Panic Button, who previously worked on other Switch ports for Doom and Wolfenstein franchises. Bethesda announced the release through a new launch trailer on their YouTube channel and a tweet on Panic Button’s official Twitter page.

The Nintendo Switch version of Doom Eternal comes nine months after the game was first released on March 20 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia and PC. A next-gen version of the game for the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X/S is reportedly on the works as well.
The Switch version of Doom Eternal will have full support for the Switch’s Joy-Con motion control. This means that players can now blast their way through hell using motion controls to aim and shoot hordes of nasty demons. However, the Switch port will feature only single-player and Battlemode multiplayer.
