Donations continue to pour in for quarantine centres, Nagaland
Dimapur, June 24 (EMN): The Nagaland Minerals and Mines, CSR branch donated 16 pulse oximeter to the office of the chief medical officer, Mokokchung on Wednesday for quarantine centres and Covid-19 hospital.
The chief medical officer, Mokokchung acknowledged the donors for their generosity and conveyed gratitude, stating that it would go a long way in promptly detecting and managing respiratory complications in Covid-19 patients.
In a separate programme, Yimchungrü Baptist Church 3rd NAP out sector, Shamator donated five cartons of eggs, ten cartons of mineral water, and 20 litres of mustard oil to the quarantine centre.
The Yimchungrü Baptist Borü Amukhongto also provided lunch to the centre on Wednesday.
Also, on June 23, the Seva Bharati Nagaland contributed 20 quintals of rice, 150 kg of dal, 100 kg of tea leaves, 50 kg of salt, and 500 face masks to quarantine centres of Peren district. The supplies were handed over through the Joint Action Committee (JAC) on Covid-19 on June 23.
