DIMAPUR — Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Mon, held its annual concert on September 29 and 30, with Chinglang Konyak, director of Mon School of Music, as the chief guest on the first day.
In welcoming the guests, Rev. Fr. Adani Mathew Pfoze, SDB, stated, “Our aim is to provide a platform that nurtures the burgeoning talents of our young students, allowing their unique creativity to shine.”
A press statement mentioned that in his address, Konyak, referring to it as a homecoming to his alma mater, emphasised the importance of nurturing students’ careers and instilling a strong sense of civic responsibility.
Huong Daniel, president of ANPSA, Mon unit, was the chief guest at the event on September 30.
He expressed gratitude to Don Bosco, Mon, where he studied, and urged the students to set lofty goals and prioritise their faith in God.
The performances were a delightful mix of duets, melodious songs, and captivating drama centred on the theme ‘the choice is yours’.
The audience included prominent dignitaries, alumni, and parents of the students.
