Don Bosco College Kohima holds Euphoria 2018

Dimapur, Nov. 24 (EMN): Bringing out the talents of the students through co-curricular activities, Euphoria 2018 was held at Don Bosco College, Kohima fron Nov. 19 to 24 where the students participated in displaying their talents through different activities like singing, dancing and art.

The event, Euphoria 2018 is a weeklong event involving both sport and cultural presentations, which includes both indoor and outdoor activities. Fr. James TP, Principal Don Bosco Hr. Sec School, Kohima formally inaugurated the event  after which the leaders from different groups took oath of sportsmanship followed by the torch lighting ceremony.

Cultural day and western day was held on Nov. 19 and 20 respectively. Students displayed their talents in singing, dancing and art , and also displayed the rich Naga culture and traditions.

On the last day, special invitee, Fr. Paul Punii — Rector and Parish Priest, Christ King Church, Kohima — exhorted the students to give due importance to ethics and said that it is ethical living that brings happiness to one’s life. He encouraged the students to stick on to ethics in all walks of life for a happy and successful life.

The principal of DBCK, thanked the executives of students forum for organising the college week successfully. He lauded their commitment, sacrificing spirit, zeal, team spirit and hard work.  Hibebeto Shohe and Khriesiesanuo Whuorie the captain and vce-captain of Team Lynx took home this “year’s trophy”, stated DR. FR. P. Suresh, the principal of the college in a press note.
