Dimapur, Jan. 18 (EMN): Altogether 117 dogs were administered anti-rabies vaccines during the free vaccination programmes organised by Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Mon, on January 12, 16, and 17 in Ngangching, KVK office and Sowa Changle village respectively.
Dr. Paihem Michui, ACTO (Animal Science), KVK Mon, Aboi, stated that the vaccination programmes were organised under National Innovations of Climate Resilient in Agriculture-Technology Demonstration components (NICRA-TDC). The programmes were organised with the aim to inform public about the importance of prevention of rabies, since rabies pose serious threat to public health.
The programmes were conducted led by Dr. Paihem Michui and was assisted by Saurabh Sachan, young professional-II.
