Dimapur, Sep. 15 (EMN): A document verification camp for children with intellectual disabilities for distribution of Teaching and Learning Materials (TLM) kits was conducted on September 11 at Resource Centre of Prodigals’ Home, Dimapur. The camp was organised by NEIPID (Divyangjan) Regional Centre, Navi Mumbai, in collaboration with the office of State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, Government of Nagaland, and Prodigals’ Home. A press release issued by Prodigals’ Home stated that Dr. Gnanavel K, director in-charge and assistant professor of Speech Pathology, CRC Davengere, and Ravi Prakash Singh, lecturer in Special Education, NIEPID Regional Centre, Navi Mumbai, were the facilitators of the verification camp. Altogether, 28 children from various parts of Dimapur were present for the verification. It added that qualifying children would receive TLM kits, high-end merchandise, free of cost.
