DIMAPUR — The Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) expressed its deep concern over the recent transfer of teachers in the middle of the academic session.

“This sudden and unjustified move has disrupted the learning process, causing undue distress to students and hampering their academic performance,” it said in a press statement.

The union has urged the concerned authorities to provide a valid reason for these transfers and to consider the long-term consequences of such actions on the students. It also requested a review of the transfer policy to ensure that it prioritises students’ needs and well-being.

“We propose a collaborative approach to address this issue, involving stakeholders from the education sector, to find solutions that benefit our students,” it said, adding that a stable and supportive learning environment is essential for students’ success.

The union requested a prompt response and resolution to this matter and mentioned that the union is willing to work together with the authorities to find a solution.
