DNLBEPK holds Music Fest 2023

DIMAPUR — The Dimapur Nkonjan Lotha Baptist Ekhumkho Pongdenro Khumshum (DNLBEPK) held its Music Fest 2023 on the theme ‘Instruments of Peace’ (Psalms 98:4-6; Colossians 3:15), which was hosted by the Lotha Baptist Church Seithekema C on Sep. 23.

An update issued on Thursday informed that, the event which was organised to bring the youths together and to celebrate togetherness through music, was attended by 13 churches under DNLBEPK.

The event witnessed competitions and a musical evening to enthral the congregation.

The competition consisted of two categories: Octet and duet.

In octet competition, LBC Bor-Lengri bagged the first place, while LBC Dimapur and LBC Purana Bazar bagged second and third respectively.

In duet competition, LBC Chümoukedima bagged the first place, followed by LBC Bor-Lengri in second place and LBC Dimapur in third place.

The first session ended with musical games and activities, followed by a scrumptious buffet dinner provided by the host church.

The second session was a display of musical talents and special performances from various churches. The congregation was also enthralled with choral pieces by Coronation Choir, Golden Crown Theological College (GCTC).
