Dimapur, March 12 (EMN): Dimapur Mission Higher Secondary School (DMHSS) has felicitated Rose Jami for securing the 8th rank in HSSLC examination during a programme held at DABA town fellowship on Friday. The chairman of school governing board, K Temjen Jamir, gave away a cash prize of INR 25,000 along with certificate.
Speaking at the programme, Jamir has termed as a ‘proud moment’ for the Dimapur Mission Higher Secondary School to honour an achiever in the personality of Rose Jami. He congratulated Jami for securing 8th rank in the HSSLC examination 2020.
The chairmen of school governing board also stated that it is the third consecutive year for the school to secure in top 10 positions in HSLC and HSSLC examinations. He further challenged the students strive hard to bring more achievements to the society.
Speaking at the felicitation programme, Rose Jami thanked the principal, teachers and all the faculty for their selfless support and encouragement for her success. Jami also advised her fellow students to pursue their dreams and translate into reality stating that DMHSS has the best team and mentors to fulfil their dreams.
A school governing board, Dr. Jamedi Longkumer, also shared a word of encouragement. He said, “success is something which is very desirable and precious. Everyone wants to attain success in life but success does not come easy or readymade.” Longkumer added that to achieve success it involved self believed, planning, commitment and determination.
