DIMAPUR — To ensure the peaceful, free, and fair conduct of the election and for public safety, District Magistrate John Tsulise Sangtam of Phek has directed all licenced arm holders in Phek district to deposit their arms and ammunition at the nearest police station on or before March 30.

According to a DIPR report, the order mentioned that the arms and ammunition deposited would be kept in police custody until one week after the declaration of the election results.
