Dimapur, July 20 (EMN): Mon District Legal Services Authority (MDLSA) conducted an essay writing competition on fundamental rights with students of Government Wangkhao College on July 17.
The first prize was bagged by Shoaking (BA 3rd semester), while the second and third prizes were won by Eji Wanphong C Konyak (BA I semester) and Angam T Konyak (BA V semester) respectively.
MDLSA also conducted a programme on child friendly legal services with youth choir of KBCM Mon on July 16.
In a related programme, Longleng District Legal Services Authority (LDLSA) conducted a workshop/training with Dobashis and Gaon Buras at the Customary Court Longleng on July 17.
Abraham, Assistant Public Prosecutor Longleng, spoke on working system of court, while E Thiba Phom, LDLSA panel lawyer, spoke on the rules for administration of justice of police in Nagaland.
The introduction was delivered by Tucuno Vamuzo, CJM and Secretary LDLSA. It was followed by an interactive session.
DBs and GBs alongwith 11 wards president and secretaries attended the workshop.
