Dimapur, Sep. 15 (EMN): The District Level Centre for Women (DLCW): Mahila Shakti Kendra of Tuensang in collaboration with the district administration conducted an awareness programme at Noksen and Longra villages on Monday.
District co-ordinator S Niamkoi introduced the DLCW: Mahila Shakti Kendra and Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, informed an update.
Welfare officer Songmao M gave a brief introduction about nutritional food for pregnant women and lactating mothers and explained how to take care of antenatal, natal and post natal.
The programme was attended by Asha, anganwandi workers and pregnant and lactating mothers. The programme ended with the distribution of nutrition supplements for lactating and pregnant mothers, it informed.
