Districts conduct training for webcasting operators

DIMAPUR — Office of the additional deputy commissioner (ADC) in Pughoboto conducted a training on webcasting/ offline videography on Saturday at VDB Hall in Pughoboto town with master trainers Vihoto Sheqi and Isak.

A DIPR report stated that operators assigned for webcasting in 17 polling stations under Pughoboto Assembly Constituency attended the hands-on training.

Meanwhile, the ADC and DEO of Pughoboto informed the 1st mock drill for 20 percent identified polling stations would be held on April 9, while the 2nd mock drill/ mega mock drill for 50 per cent identified polling stations would be held on April 12. He further informed that webcasting systems should be collected and returned to the DEO office after the completion of the mock drill.

Similar training for booth level officers (BLO) and webcasting operators was held at Peren town hall on Saturday. The BLOs were imparted training by AEO of Peren, Aketo, while Pauzikonne Mariam, Kekhribenuo Usou and Ngauzeulungbe led the training session for webcasting operators.

Report also stated that Longleng and Kiphire districts would conduct training for webcasting operators on April 8 at DPDB hall in Longleng town and Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) in Kiphire town at 12 noon respectively.
