Atoizu administration conducted an inspection-cum-coordination meeting with stakeholders, finding PHED and Forest Department offices closed despite prior intimation.

DIMAPUR — The Zunheboto district administration, in collaboration with the Atoizu Town Council, gaon buras, Sümi Totimi Loka Atoizu, Sümi Totimi Loka Asukhuto, Students’ Union Atoizu Town and Students’ Union Asukhuto Town, conducted an inspection-cum-coordination meeting at Atoizu on August 21.
As part of the programme, the team inspected various government offices and institutions in Atoizu, including Khelhoshe Polytechnic, Atoizu; the offices of the Executive Engineer and Sub-Divisional Officer, PWD (R&B); Sub-Divisional Education Office; Police Station; Primary Health Centre; Sub-District Industries Centre; Government High School; Veterinary & Animal Husbandry department; Power department; Public Health Engineering Department (PHED); Forest department; and Horticulture Farm.
According to a DIPR report, a coordination and consultative meeting was held following the inspections with representatives of the concerned departments and other stakeholders.
During the meeting, participants raised grievances, put forward proposals and apprised the district administration of the needs and requirements of various offices and institutions for appropriate consideration and necessary action.
The inspection also found the PHED and Forest Department offices closed despite prior intimation regarding the inspection.
