District task force meeting on RI held in Longleng

DIMAPUR — The meeting of the District Task Force on Immunisation was held at DC’s chamber, Longleng, on Monday.

Dr. Imtijungshi DPO (RCH/UIP), in his keynote address, highlighted about the importance of routine immunisation (RI) and ongoing MR elimination campaign in the district, an update from CMO office, Longleng, stated.

He also briefed about the ongoing RI head count survey activity in the district, which will be completed by third week of October 2024.

Deputy Commissioner, W Manpai Phom encouraged the involvement of all non- health departments to ensure their support for improving RI coverage, saying that they should play a vital role to dessiminate information about immunization. The DC also and assured full support from the administration side.

The meeting, conducted under the chairmanship of the deputy commissioner, was attended by SDO , EAC, Sr. SDEO, CDPO, PPC, Hoichemla, PSC and CMO staff.
