Mon, Jan. 16 (EMN): The monthly Mon District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held on Jan. 15 at Deputy Commissioner’s conference hall. Deputy Commissioner and vice chairman DPDB Thavaseelan K presided over the meeting. The IPR updated.
The house deliberated on the preparatory works for the forthcoming Republic Day celebration.
Reiterating the fact that election duties take precedence over all other tasks, the DC apprised the members of the preparations done for the Nagaland Legislative Assembly Elections. He urged those drafted for election duty to put in all possible efforts for the successful conduct of the elections.
The house was also appraised on Opioid Substitution Therapy (OST) centers for de-addiction. A programme involving NGOs and other stakeholders are being planned for de-addiction, the DC informed.
These programmes will have livelihood training component, he said.
Executive Engineer Power, Mon division SI Asangba Tikhir highlighted about the power situation in the district. The house later deliberated on power theft situations as well transmission and distribution losses.
The DC later informed all members to attend the monthly DPDB meeting without fail. He warned of show cause notices on those irregular members.
Noklak: The Noklak Sub-Division Planning Development Board (SDPDB) conducted monthly meeting on Jan. 15 at KTC hall, presided by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Noklak Thsuvishie Phoji.
According to IPR report, the meeting deliberated on the work distribution for the forthcoming Republic Day celebration.
The chairman urged members to be sincere in their duties and also be present during the state assembly election.
Phek: The monthly Phek DPDB meeting was held on Jan. 16 at DPDB hall, Phek, presided by Chairman Phek DPDB and advisor Social Welfare, Chotisuh Sazo.
SDO (Civil) Phek, Neilezo Tep reviewed the last meeting minutes. The newly posted officers were also introduced to the house.
The chairman urged members to be sincere in their works. He also asked officers to be present at their posting places for convenience the people.
Department of Food & Civil Supplies and Sports presented their departmental activities.
