Dimapur, Oct. 21 (EMN): Following the detection of Covid-19 positive persons, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of Peren Moa Sangtam has issued sealing order of District Hospital Peren OPD and house No. 7 and 8 located at Duiring ward under Peren town. The sealing will be for 48 hours with effect from October 20 till further orders, to contain the spread of the virus.
Public has been advised to follow all safety precautions, especially within the sealed areas.
ADC also informed that any persons violating the orders would be liable to be prosecuted as per the provisions of section 51-60 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005 besides legal actions under section-188 of the IPC.
Meanwhile, ADC of Jalukie Dr. Tinojongshi Chang has notified that in view of the detection of Covid-19 positive person and in order to take preventive measures to contain the spread of the infection, house No.158 at High School colony, Jalukie town has been sealed with effect from October 21 till further orders.
Public has been advised to follow all safety precautions, especially within the sealed areas.
