Dimapur, June 4 (EMN): The deputy commissioner (DC) of Mon, Thavaseelan K, on Thursday inaugurated the automatic biochemistry and haematology analysers at the District Hospital Mon.

The DC, in an update informed that the machines were procured through funding received from compomate social responsibility initiatives and donated by the advisor to Social Welfare, Home Guards and Civil Defence, Noke Wangnao and well-wishers.

Dr. Shokwang said biochemistry analyser tests the functioning of kidney, liver, lipid profile and uric acid level while the haematology analyser is for testing of red blood cells and white blood cells count.

A dedication prayer was pronounced by Rev. Chemyuh Konyak, executive secretary of the Konyak Baptist Bumeinok Bangjum.
