DIPR, Geological Survey of India offices sealed

Dimapur, Nov. 16 (EMN): In view of the detection of Covid-19 positive cases, the Directorate of Information and Public Relation (DIPR), Nagaland, Kohima has been sealed for 48 hours from November 16 to the 18th (14:30 hrs.).

An update from DIPR stated that the office was sealed as per the guidelines on preventive measures to contain the spread of Covid-19 in workplace settings issued by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Directorate General of Health Services (EMR Division).

It added that fumigation of the premises will be done and aggressive contact tracing will be initiated, following all health Safety measures and SOPs of the government.

“The sealed area is mapped and cordoned off and the public and all concerned have been advised to follow all safety precautions of wearing masks all the time, frequently washing hands and maintain social/physical distances to ensure public hygiene and personal safety within the proximity of the sealed area,” read the order.

In a separate notice, the deputy commissioner of Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan, has ordered the temporary sealing of Geological Survey of India, near Don Bosco School, Riverbelt Colony Dimapur; and House No-295 at Landmark Colony, near NPF Office, Dimapur, for 48 hours with immediate effect till further order.

“Any person violating these containment measures will be liable to be proceeded as per the provisions of Section 51 to 60 of the Disaster management Act, 2005, besides legal action under Section-I88 of the 1PC,” the order read.
