The central government’s Ministry of Agriculture has been sponsoring a year postgraduate diploma in Agricultural Extension Management through district education for the functionaries working in the departments of Agriculture. nrollment to the next batch of candidates for the one year postgraduate diploma in Agricultural Extension Management has been informed. In-service candidates of agriculture and allied departments interested to undergoing the postgraduate course are asked to download the application form from the website www.manage.gov.in and submit the completed application to the director of State Agricultural Management and Extension Training Institute (SAMETI) of Medziphema on or before December 11, the last date for the submission. The Ministry of Agriculture has been sponsoring the graduate diploma for the ‘extension functionaries’ working in the departments of Agriculture. These functionaries include those from the Agricultural technology Management Agency and allied sectors of the agriculture departments of the state governments. The program is under the Scheme of Extension Reforms since 2007.
The National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management of Hyderabad is conducting the program through the SAMETI of the respective states.
