Diphu gets its first Enfield showroom

Our Correspondent Diphu, April 27 (EMN): An Eshan Royal Enfield showroom was inaugurated in Diphu town along Diphu-Manja road at Rongkhelan on April 27 Friday. The showroom was formally inaugurated by District Transport Officer (DTO), Sidhartha Saikia who attended as the inaugural as chief guest. Saikia said that the setting up of the showroom in Diphu town would help the customers grab the opportunity. In addition, as a part of the 29th road safety week, an awareness program on wearing helmet was also organised. He said wearing helmet while riding a bike should be a must and urged upon the Eshan Royal Enfield showroom to provide helmets to every buyers. Chairman, Langpi Dihangi Rural Bank (LDRB), KC Das said that a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) have been signed for applying loan with easy and short process. The owner of the showroom Shankar Gupta said there are many enthusiast riders in the region but due to non availability of showroom one cannot enjoy the service while citing that 'if a rider wanted to buy a bike he goes to Guwahati, Nagoan and Dimapur.'
