Diphu-based band selected for next Wacken Metal Battle

DIPHU — Diphu-based heavy metal band ‘Hope for Humanity’ won the Capital Choas- VI Wacken Metal Battle competition- 2024 which was held at Itanagar on December 10, 2023.

After its win, the band has now been selected for the next Wacken Metal Battle scheduled to be held in Bangalore on February 8.

Informing Eastern Mirror, guitarist Longtar Tisso expressed their journey and the happiness on winning the competition.

He said Wacken Metal Battle exclusively showcases bands from India.

The band consists of Bolon Tokbi (vocal), Longtar Tisso (guitar), Sarding Terang (guitar), Longbamon Bey (drum) and Sarjeng Rongpi (bass).

The band also won the Langpher Battle of the Bands, Volongkom Aji in 2023.
