Dimapur, August 2 (EMN): Dimasa Students Union Nagaland (DSUN) felicitated the successful students of HSLC, HSSLC and degree examinations 2016-2017 on July 29 at Dhansiripar Community Hall. Dimapur, August 2 (EMN): Dimasa Students Union Nagaland (DSUN) felicitated the successful students of HSLC, HSSLC and degree examinations 2016-2017 on July 29 at Dhansiripar Community Hall. The programme was graced by Fr. Sunny Minj, youth director of Don Bosco Provincial House, Dimapur, as the resource person. He congratulated the successful students and urged them to have a clear aim to study with a purpose.
He said the parents should motivate and support their children in achieving their goals to reap what they planted and nurtured. He told the students not to study for themselves alone but for others, only then he said one can contribute to family, society, state, country and the whole world at large. Comparing the State’s road with other countries, he said “foreign cultures will never come to our place so one should promote our own rich culture”.President of Indigenous Minority Tribes of Nagaland, Lun Tungnung, who grace the occasion as the special guest, gave a brief introduction of IMTN and urged the students to work harder. He stated that “the only problem is that the students along with the society do not dare to dream anymore and hence stop in believing themselves”. He also urged the students to not only stick themselves to the jobs provided by the state government but to avail the opportunity provided by the central government.Speeches were also delivered by SK Khemprai and Rup Langthasa advisors to the students union; Kumar Naben , president of Dimasa Public Organisation; Ramesh Hasnu, president of Kachari Tribal Council Nagaland; and Debojet Naben, president of Dimasa Lairidim Mel Nagaland. Special numbers were presented by MonaliThaosen, Gahamti Khemprai and Joyphen Khersa & friends.
