Dimapur’s Sewak road gets ‘improvement’ after decades

Dimapur, Feb. 24 (EMN): Citizens who use the Sewak road in Dimapur have been enduring bumpy rides for long due to the condition of the road especially during the monsoon season. However, things may be changing now with some work being done on the road.

Residents of the area and citizens who use the road can heave a sigh of relief now with ‘improvement work’ on the Sewak road having been completed on Monday, Feb. 24.

The ‘road improvement work’ of about 600 metre was initiated and completed by Dimapur region’s Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party’s general secretary Amos Humtsoe which commenced on Feb. 14 with the support of Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) administrator Albert Ezung.

Humtsoe has extended gratitude to the DMC and the administrator for their support in carrying out the ‘improvement work.’
