- DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Athletics Association
(NAA), in collaboration with the Athletics Federation of India (AFI), will
organise the District Technical Official (DTO) course for the Northeast Region,
scheduled from May 9 to the 11th in Dimapur.
- In a press release, the NAA informed that this is the third
time that the AFI is conducting the technical official course in Nagaland.
District technical official course is one of the most significant grassroots
programmes of the AFI which provides training and certification to untrained
technical officials all over India. The course provides an opportunity to
technical official to improve the quality and standards of officiating during
athletics competitions.
- The course is open to anyone interested in athletics,
including parents, former athletes, physical education teachers, coaches, etc.
Participants will receive DTO level certificate from the AFI upon successful
completion of the course.
- Interested participants can register themselves through the
AFI website (https://tms.indianathletics.in/registers/DTO/). Registration
commences from April 1 to the 30th. For further details, one can contact Purna
