Dimapur, June 29 (EMN): The TrueNat test result of the taxi driver from Dimapur, who was placed under quarantine on June 28, has returned negative on Monday.

A reliable source informed Eastern Mirror that the taxi driver was tested for Covid-19 after reports of a passenger he had recently ferried had tested positive via TrueNat in Mokokchung.

“A TrueNat test was conducted for the taxi driver and it is negative; now further lab test will be done only after the second result of the Mokokchung woman arrives,” said the source, adding that the lab test result of the Mokokchung case  is due to arrive on June 30.

It was informed that the taxi driver and his family are still in quarantine. “Their release will depend on the result of the second test of the Mokokchung positive case,” informed the source.
