The Dimapur T20 League organized by the Sovima Students Union is underway at Nagaland Cricket Stadium, Sovima. Altogether twelve cricket clubs from all over Nagaland are participating in this tournament.The tournament was graced by Arthu Edwards, Administrator, Livingstone Foundation Higher Secondary School as the chief guest in the opening ceremony. The chief guest besides wishing goodluck to the participating teams also told the youth that is important to play games and sports as it keeps a person physically fit as well as it gives mental fitness. Besides games, sports and music has no barrier of cast, creed and religion. It brings all of us closer to each other and a feeling of unity and brotherhood, he added.
In the opening game Blue Star CC defeated Wiskers CC. In the second game the Dimapur Royals defeated Charity CC Kohima and in the last match of the day, Flamingoz SC lost to Dimapur CC.
